    Hi Sunil Chunduru,

Thank you for reaching out. The issue you're experiencing—where the search bar functions only for the built-in administrator on your Azure VM—is commonly related to Windows Search service permissions or profile indexing settings.

Please ensure that the Windows Search service is running and set to Automatic for all users. You can verify this by opening services.msc and checking the status of “Windows Search.” Additionally, confirm that the affected user profiles have access to the search index by enabling per-user catalog indexing via the registry key EnablePerUserCatalog.

If you're using FSLogix or a multi-session environment, profile container configurations may also impact search functionality. Restarting Windows Explorer and running the Search and Indexing troubleshooter under Settings > System > Troubleshoot may help resolve temporary issues.

Let us know if you'd like assistance reviewing your VM configuration or applying these changes.

    Best regards,

    Quinnie Quoc.
