Outlook not finding new emails - but I cannot post the question!

I am trying to post this question, but I just keep getting "We encountered an unexpected error. Please try again later. If this issue continues, please open a ticket at https://sitehelp.microsoft.com."

And I CANNOT log in to https://sitehelp.microsoft.com.

So I am trying to start a question I can then add to...

WHY CAN I NOT POST A QUESTION???

    Hello Steve,

    Thank you for reaching out and sharing the details. I understand how frustrating it can be when Outlook doesn’t sync properly and you’re also unable to post your question on the Q&A platform. Outlook Classic not finding new emails behavior often occurs due to sync or cache issues. Please try the following steps:

    1. Reset the View and Clear Cache
      • In Outlook, go to View > Current View > Reset View.
      • Close Outlook, then follow this to clear cache in Classic Outlook: Clear the cache on Outlook..
    2. Toggle Cached Exchange Mode
      • Go to File > Account Settings > Account Settings > Change.
      • Uncheck Use Cached Exchange Mode, restart Outlook, then re-enable it.
    3. Repair the Data File
    4. Create a New Profile
      • Open Control Panel > Mail > Show Profiles, create a new profile, and set it as default.

    And you can try these steps to post on Microsoft Q&A or log in to sitehelp.microsoft.com:

    • Clear your browser cache and cookies.
    • Try an InPrivate/Incognito window or a different browser.
