The keys for adjusting keyboard LED brightness differ by manufacturer. For instance, on my Logitech keyboard, they’re assigned to the F4 and F5 keys, which have a brightness symbol on them. Same goes with laptop, the device manufacturer should put a symbol on the media keys for adjusting its brightness. If you’re not sure which keys to use, check your device’s manual or the manufacturer’s support site for the correct key combination.
