The OneNote mobile app is crashing every time I try to open it.

I'm having an issue with the OneNote mobile app. Every time I try to open it, the app crashes and won't let me access my notes. I keep getting a message that says I should reset the app, but I haven’t backed up my most recent notes, so I’m afraid of losing them. There’s also a message saying the app might have a bug.

Is there any way to recover my notes or fix this without resetting the app?

    Hello,

Thank you for reaching out to the Microsoft Community and I'll be glad to assist you today.

First, ensure all your notes are properly synced with your Microsoft account. Since we cannot open the OneNote Mobile app to check the sync status, you can visit https://www.onenote.com/notebooks, sign in with your account, and verify if all your notebooks, including recent ones, are synced.

Alternatively, you can use OneDrive to check for synced notebooks. Go to https://onedrive.live.com/, sign in with your Microsoft account, and see if your notebooks are under My files > Documents.

You can also use the search bar to locate your notebooks.

Important - avoid resetting or uninstalling unless you're sure your notes are synced.

If they are synced, you can then try resetting your OneNote app on Android. You can clear the cache or uninstall and reinstall the app.

After signing in with your Microsoft account, your recent notebooks will automatically sync to the OneNote app again.

Let me know if you still need more help.
