I understand that you are unable to access your Microsoft account, as you no longer have access to the phone number that was used on the account; and also need to change the number.
Kindly fill out the Microsoft Account Recovery form here.
Kindly note that account recovery is an automated process. Microsoft has set the account recovery process entirely online to ensure the customer's privacy and security.
So, with this design, this cannot be overridden by Support whether phone or through chat. Support cannot bypass your account neither can they reset the password nor recover the account for you
It will always boil down to the customer's ability to have access to the necessary information that our security process requires.
