Dear Community,
I trying to upload the My Software on Microsoft store. The main error I'm facing is *in generating the MSIX package.*Let me explain the entire scenario.Take a look:
Image1This is the page where we need to upload the MSIX package. I used the Microsoft MSIX Packaging Toolto create the MSIX package. First, I created an MSIX package, where I used my company's publisher information and a PFX file for signing. The MSIX file installs properly on my system, but **we are unable to upload the same MSIX in the Package Upload section under Apps and Games.**You can check our MSIX file for reference.CigatiVCFToCSV_24.8.0.0_x64__px44habkc4ska.msix(This MSIX Installed but NOT able to Upload)I encountered an error while uploading this MSIX package. The Error Displayed that ***"***you need to add the publisher in the MSIX file, as specified in the Product Identity section".Image2I have now created the MSIX using the Microsoft MSIX Packaging Toolwith the Product Identity details mentioned above. Thank you for your response. We are facing two issues while uploading the MSIX app to the Microsoft Store:
- If I create the MSIX using the publisher ID provided in the "Product Identity" created by the Microsoft Partner Center, the upload process is successful. However, the MSIX fails to install or launch, showing a publisher and certificate-related issue.
- If I create the MSIX using our company’s publisher details, the MSIX installs and launches successfully. However, it does not upload to the Apps and Games section, displaying a publisher and certificate-related issue.
Could you please assist with resolving these issues?
