I want to be able to embed Google Slides, Sheets or Docs into a Loop page show that the content shows (like you can in Notion). How can I do this?

    Hi James, this is Bryll

Thank you for taking the time to write to us in the Microsoft Community.

Please note that Microsoft Loop is currently in general preview, which means that the Microsoft team is still developing and improving its features. Therefore, there may be minor problems or glitches at this stage. For more information, see The new Microsoft Loop app is designed to be co-authored | Microsoft 365 blog

I have personally checked and researched the request you described with embedding Google slides, sheets and Google Docs in a page within Microsoft Loop. Having looked into this, we have come to the same conclusion. Currently, Microsoft Loop doesn't have a built-in option that allows users to embed Google services directly from the application, but it's good that there's another way to work around it:

    Publish and Link:

    • Google: Make your Google document public by using the "Publish to web" option. This generates an embeddable code snippet and a public link.
    • Microsoft Loop: Create a Loop component with a text box or image. Paste the public link in the text box or use the image component to link to a screenshot of the document. Users clicking the link or image will be redirected to the publicly accessible Google document.

    Copy and Paste:

    • Google: Copy relevant content from your Google document (e.g., text, tables, charts)
    • Microsoft Loop: Create a Loop component with a text box or table. Paste the copied content into the appropriate component. Note that formatting and functionality may be lost or limited during this process.

Considerations: While in the time being, consider dedicated collaboration tools that support both Google and Microsoft ecosystems, allowing for seamless embedding and editing.

If the shared strategies don't work, it's recommended that you post your sincere suggestions or feedback on Loop · Community (microsoft.com) or Get started with Microsoft Loop - Microsoft Support then share the feedback link you post here in a reply so that other users can cast their own votes. These are the official channels for sending feedback or suggestions to Microsoft Loop developers.
