When Updating Loops...Why do you have to use @mention

When using a LOOP Comment that all team members have access too...
Why do you have to add @mention and include everyone that was originally on that LOOP just to get a notification sent to each of the team members?

I would think that when the LOOP had an update then all persons originally in the LOOP get notified of the update and the notification would take you directly to what was updated within the LOOP.

    Hello Laura_Quad

Thank you for posting in Microsoft Community.

It seems like you have an issue in regard to Microsoft Loop. Let’s work together in finding the best resolution to this issue.

When updating a Loop, using @mention is necessary to ensure that the team members who need to be notified of the update receive a notification. This is because not all team members may have notifications turned on for the Loop, or they may have muted the Loop. By using @mention, you can ensure that the notification is sent to all team members who need to be aware of the update.

Regarding your suggestion that all persons originally in the Loop should be notified of the update, this is a great idea and we appreciate your feedback. However, at this time, the feature you described is not available in Microsoft 365 Insider - Loop - Mac. We are constantly working to improve our products and services, and we will take your feedback into consideration for future updates. You may access the link below to report this matter, kindly go to the bottom part where it says "Feedback".

    Hi

Is it possible for the notification to have a summary of the update in the email?

At present it is just that someone has notified you.

    Thanks

    Lewis
