I acknowledge your concerns regarding backing up or exporting Microsoft Loop workspaces. Here are some key points to consider:
- Individual Loop Components, such as those created in MS Teams Chats, are saved as .loop files in a user's OneDrive and can be backed up.
- Microsoft Loop Workspaces appear to be stored in SharePoint Embedded, and there is currently no option to backup/export from SharePoint Embedded, whether as an individual user or admin.
- Microsoft Loop is still in its early stages, so there may be fewer features than expected or some issues. Microsoft's engineering team is actively working on enhancing Microsoft Loop.
- You can conduct a Content Search in the Admin Compliance center and filter by file type .loop to extract all the Loop pages in the Loop Workspaces.
- Utilize the Content search feature through the compliance admin portal to refine your search to .loop and .fluid file types. Export the search results.
