    Hi Mohamad,

    Thank you for your reply.

I acknowledge your concerns regarding backing up or exporting Microsoft Loop workspaces. Here are some key points to consider:

    1. Individual Loop Components, such as those created in MS Teams Chats, are saved as .loop files in a user's OneDrive and can be backed up.
    2. Microsoft Loop Workspaces appear to be stored in SharePoint Embedded, and there is currently no option to backup/export from SharePoint Embedded, whether as an individual user or admin.
    3. Microsoft Loop is still in its early stages, so there may be fewer features than expected or some issues. Microsoft's engineering team is actively working on enhancing Microsoft Loop.
    4. You can conduct a Content Search in the Admin Compliance center and filter by file type .loop to extract all the Loop pages in the Loop Workspaces.
    5. Utilize the Content search feature through the compliance admin portal to refine your search to .loop and .fluid file types. Export the search results.

I trust this information proves helpful.

    Regards,

    Hi Mohamad Koudsi,

Thank you for posting in Microsoft Community.

Currently, Microsoft Loop does not offer the direct export of Loop pages or workspaces. This functionality has been requested by many users and may be included in upcoming updates.

Nevertheless, you can easily share your workspace with others. Simply go to the workspace, click on the ‘Share’ button at the top left corner, and choose ‘Workspace’ from the available options.

If you need to transfer a Loop page to a different workspace, you can do so by selecting the page, clicking on the “…” button at the top right corner, choosing “Move to workspace” from the dropdown menu, and then selecting the desired workspace.

It's important to remember that Loop is still in its early development stages, and more features are expected to be introduced in the future.

    Regards,

    Hello Lon,

    Thank you for your reply.

Is there any way to create a backup of the Loop workspace or pages?

I love Loop and look forward to using it. However, as an organization, it's very risky to use Loop without being able to back it up or export it.

    Regards
