Access Button Text Missing in Version 2506 Build 16.0.18925.20050

We have multiple customers without being part of the Microsoft Insider Program were some how updated to Microsoft Insider Version 2506 Build 16.0.18925.20050. And within Access, some button text does not display. Rolling back their Office to version 2505 will fix this issue. I am able to replicate this issue by updating Office to Version 2506 Build 16.0.18925.20050 using the Office Deployment Tool. Issue seems to be that some of the command buttons now includes an image in the Picture property, causing the button text not to show up. If I remove the image from the Picture property, the button text will display correctly. There are large number of buttons this have occured in within our Access database, there is no way for us to manually go though these and remove them. And this issue seems to only occur in Version 2506. If I rollback to Version 2505, the button text will display correctly. I have attempted to update the Insider Version 2507 to see if the issue has been fixed in that version. However, I have no luck with updating to Version 2507, it is returning Error Code: 30183-27(400) when attempting to update. From looking at other post, looks like there is some issue with updating to Insider version 2507.

Is Microsoft aware of this issue with Insider Version 2506 being release for customers who is not part of the Insider Program? And are they aware of this button issue within Access Version 2506. Currently, version 2507 can't be installed, so I am unable to verify if this issue exist in that version. We already have over 50 customers affected by this issue. If this issue is released in the next current channel, this will be a huge problem for us.

I have the same problem that occurred yesterday (2025/06/24) mid afternoon. Thanks for sharing.

I have just checked my version it is

    Microsoft® Access® for Microsoft 365 MSO (Version 2506 Build 16.0.18925.20076) 64-bit.

Manually removing the image from the buttons restores the displayed text.

It *is* due to a new version and the only fix I've heard which works is to change the Picture Caption Arrangement property to GENERAL. Very, very, lame since I easily have 1,000 buttons that I have to do this to. -Bonnie

As others have mentioned, this issue is occurring with build 2506. build 2505 is ok (for me)
For myself I don't use images on the buttons (picture property is (none) ), but some buttons are appearing with no captions, others are, seems to be random on which ones do and which ones don't.

I changed the picture caption arrangement property from 'no picture caption' to 'general' as suggested by others and that seems to have solved the problem.
