Hi Loop Team,

We have just realised this issue when we add due dates to tasks created within Microsoft Loop, the due date will appear a day behind once synced across to Microsoft To Do.

I'm wondering if anyone else has seen this issue or you have any solutions to fix it?

Thanks.

    Hi Tomm,

We totally understand that Loop is still in public preview and there maybe some bugs, hence we want to confirm that if this is a bug or is something that can be fixed.

    1. How did you create the tasks with due dates in Microsoft Loop? Is it directly through Microsoft Outlook application?

We are creating the tasks within the Loop App itself. The tasks do sync across to Microsoft To Do, its just that the due dates are a day behind when listed in the Microsoft To Do app.

    1. Are you using personal account or work account for Microsoft Loop?

We are using work accounts for this scenario and the issue has been replicated on two different work accounts.

    1. Are you using personal account or work account for Microsoft To Do app?

Using work accounts for these as well.

    Thanks again for your help.

I just found that another user has raised this query back in March 2023. I didn't see this before.

    Hello Zheng Kon,

Thank you for your prompt response and we apologize for some delay in our end.

We would like to ask if the discrepancy of due dates in Microsoft To Do is occurring on the same device? If no, then check date and time settings of each device if they have the same settings. Check also if Outlook tasks are synching with your Microsoft To Do tasks. You may also try creating the tasks list through the Outlook app. See the screenshot:

If the issue is not related to device time and date settings, then it could be related to limited feature since Microsoft Loop component is not currently supporting Microsoft To Do app. Currently, it is supporting Outlook, Teams, Word for the web and Whiteboard.

For sure, you may send your feedback so that our developer can properly investigate this as well. In the bottom right corner, select Help > Give feedback.

We look forward to your response. Kindly let us know, if there is any misunderstanding or clarifications of our description by sending us a reply.

    Sincerely,
