    Hello Young,

Thanks for sharing your concern here in Microsoft Community.

We understand you would like to change your language settings in Loop to English. We thoroughly check our resources, and it appears that this option in Microsoft Loop is not yet implemented.

While we understand that this is feature is not possible yet as of the moment, we are inviting you to take part of the change for future updates in Microsoft Loop by sharing your thoughts or suggestions to our developers via the Microsoft Feedback Portal or the Feedback Hub app. They might be able to look into it and find ways to include in the next updates.

While waiting for your feedback be heard, we know that you may need this feature badly right now for work or any other reasons. With that, we found a workaround that will help us change the language in loop to your desire by changing the localization to English. Please refer to the link. https://loop.microsoft.com/?locale=en-us****

en-us is for **** English, and you want to switch it back to Spanish, just change the localization back to es-es.

Microsoft Loop is still in preview mode, which means that it is not yet fully released and may have some limitations or issues. However, preview users like you can access Loop features and provide feedback to help improve the product before it becomes generally available.

Hope you found this information helpful. Thanks for being part of the Microsoft Preview Community.

We appreciate your time and patience, and for bringing this to our attention.

    Sincerely,

    Froilance T.

Hi, I have the same issue but for PT Brazilian. Would you have the same workaround?

Hi, I have the same issue but for PT Brazilian. Would you have the same workaround?

    BROWSER VERSION (Brazilian Portuguese)

    Microsoft Loop (cloud.microsoft) ( https://loop.cloud.microsoft/?locale=pt-br )

    PWA VERSION (Desktop WebApp)

    [FIXED] [WORKAROUND]

After a long time without the proper answer/fix/feature, I've decided to investigate it.
I've ran some tests and found out that the PWA installed in my Laptop opened in pt-BR with my Work account and in en-US with my personal account.
So, after inspecting every request and opening every file (AppManifest.xml and so on...) I've found an extension that got the job done.

    STEP BY STEP

    1. Add the Requestly Extension to your Browser.
    2. Open the Extension
    3. Create a new rule
      1. Use the "Query Param" type of rule
        1. Options
          • URL
          • Wildcard (Default is "Contains" you should replace it)
          • https://loop*microsoft/* (PWA may use the old URL, without the .cloud.microsoft, so I've adapted this to work with both)
          • Param locale
          • Value en-us (en-US for English, use your desired language)
    4. Save the Rule
    5. Test the rule using the following URL https://loop.cloud.microsoft/?clientType=pwa

    KNOWN ISSUES

    • First time you open MS Loop (PWA install for Desktop) it may open in the wrong language, press CRTL + R to refresh and it adjusts the language.
    • Sometimes the Extension Rule does not work. Delete it and create a new one, it should do the trick.
