correction: I found OSB for Mac thanks!
Need improved Video/Camera controls in Teams
When will Microsoft add more camera/video quality controls to Teams? ZOOM has very useful controls under video settings; 'Touch up my appearance' and 'Adjust for low light'. Both controls have a slider bar for manual control to create better images.

2021-10-16T17:02:09+00:00 Hi SG-416
My name is Daniel. I will be more than happy to assist you.
As a fellow MS Community forum user, I understand you need assistance to solve this issue.
That said, unfortunately, MS Team still doesn't have a native feature to change the camera resolution. As a workaround, you can combine the following apps with MS Team.
Option 1: Use the Windows cam app
You can use the Windows cam app to change the camera resolution. Please follow the steps below: - Please visit this link then click open camera: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/ope...- Make sure you select video mode & not camera mode.
- Select the gear settings on the top left of the corner to access the camera settings.
- Scroll down to video quality then select the camera resolution you need.
Option 2: Use OBS with MS Team
You can use OBS as a virtual camera for MS Team, you can change the camera resolution from the OBS side then channeling it to the MS Team.If you want a high-quality screen recording video then you need to increase the resolution and other recording parameters, however, if you need the otherwise then you need to reduce the resolution and other recording parameters.
Step 1: Configure OBS for MS Team
Please refer to the following article on how to configure OBS for MS Team.
https://lucavitali.wordpress.com/2020/06/02/how...You can download the OBS NDI plugin at the following link below:
https://github.com/Palakis/obs-ndi/releases/Step 2: Change the camera resolution from OBS
https://photography.tutsplus.com/tutorials/obs-...There are other additional benefits of using OBS for MS Team, you can customize your appearance in OBS software such as flipping images, create transition effects, create running text on the video screen which will enhance your presentation.
This is indeed the current limitation of the MS Team, so feel free to vote for this feature at the following link: https://microsoftteams.uservoice.com/forums/555...

2021-10-23T16:18:31+00:00 Thanks for your reply. I use Mac and these solutions don't seem to work with Mac IOS. It's appearance enhancement features that are missing from Teams not resolution. Improved image for low lighting and softening filter for improving user's appearance. They are simple but great features in Zoom and help users having to do on-camera remote job interviews etc. Thanks, I appreciate you taking time to reply to my question!
