Hi guy's

So my problem is that I'm trying to remove windows XP from an old computer to install windows 10 (I know you can't directly upgrade but that's my problem) but when I go to run the included uninstalling program it says that "registration information is missing". I try to uninstall it from the control center but no program is there to uninstall it or just the os program. please tell me how to remove this os, please.

Here is also a photo of the error

    1. Windows 10 does not come for free; you have to buy it.
    2. Did you do these basic checks?

First thing to do is to make sure that you have the correct system requirements and that your Computer Manufacturer supplies the correct Drivers for 10 for your Model Number.

If you read those Microsoft's system requirements for 10, you will find that if you only go on them you will be sadly disappointed in performance.

For reasonable performance should have at least:

2 gigahertz (GHz) or faster processor.

4 gigabyte (GB) of RAM for 32-bit or 8 GB for 64-bit

    500GB hard drive

DirectX 9 or later with WDDM 1.0 driver

What you are trying to do to delete XP is wrong!

    1. You boot from the Windows 10 installation media and delete the XP partition during the clean install process of Windows 10.

Use the Windows 10 media creation tool on the Software download page

Just install windows 10 before through Microsoft ISO with installation media so windows XP will delete automatically....Infact you can download the latest os as well i.e. windows 11

It doesn't automatically delete it and an old XP machine would not run Windows 11.

And you have to buy 10.

Only newer computers made approx within the last 18 months will run 11 correctly.
