I have a laptop. And I have been given full access to everything microsoft offers from my office and when I logged into my laptop with that account it also activated my windows.. I don't know what is it called so that's why I'm describing it as much as i can.

Recently, I bought a desktop and I was wondering if i can use that same Microsoft account on my desktop too. Will it be able to activate my windows on desktop too and keep my laptops window intact? Please help me clear the confusion.

Hi, I am Dave, I will help you with this.

You can use your Microsoft account on many devices, that will not cause any problems.

With regards to activation, a Windows licence can only be used on one device at a time, unless you have retail licence keys associated to your Microsoft account online, then Windows should not activate automatically, and what may happen is your licence will be moved to the new device you log into, and if that is what happened, the original device will deactivate after some time.
