How do I get my spacebar to stop acting as a scroll down button?

I was playing a little internet flash game in Windows Explorer and somehow I pressed something on the keyboard that made my spacebar turn into a scroll down button.  I tried restarting the computer but it didn't do anything.  I've no idea what I pressed to make it do this and I can't find a way to reverse it.  Please help!  Thanks.

In many applications and browsers pressing the space bar (when you are not in a text entering situation) results in a scroll down. When your mouse cursor is focused on a text box or when typing in a word processor that default function is disabled. You were able to type this question with spaces does it scroll? If it does, maybe you could try System Restore.

I recently had that happen to me, only I didn't press anything for the spacebar to act like that.  I found that when I needed to do something in the game that required the space bar, I use CTRL-spacebar instead of just the space bar.  It's worked for me.

Well for the future scrollers the way I fixed this, after much frustration, was to just push google compatibility view.

Or find another home page search engine which I tolerated for a minute.
