Any plans for server-side conversion tracking API

Google has the Measurement Protocol API in GA4, and Facebook has their Conversions API, are there plans for Microsoft to offer anything similar to allow pushing conversion events from the server/cloud side instead of just through UET in the browser?

    Hi Jim,

Thank you for using our Microsoft Advertising Community Forum!

You should consider using the Bing Ads API if your business model resembles any of the following:

    • You are a direct advertiser managing your own ad spend and you want to integrate our PPC marketing with your internal inventory management or conversion tracking systems.
    • You are a tools vendor developing advertising management solutions for advertisers or agencies.
    • You are an advertising agency and manage ad campaigns for many clients.
    • You are an aggregator and want to build Bing Ads API applications to manage the campaigns of your advertising clients.

For information about available services with the Microsoft Advertising application programming interface (API), see our Bing Ads API Overview doc.

For information about getting started developing in the sandbox and production environments, see the Bing Ads API docs on Getting Started with the Bing Ads API and Sandbox.

Have questions? A great way to get answers is to visit the API forum.

If you aim to use API for Microsoft Merchant Center, then please note the following:

If a feed is uploaded using the FTP/SFTP, it was accessible by the API. We now provide you with the flexibility to access and update your offers with Bing in any form, whether it’s through a manual feed, FTP/SFTP, or via API. If uploading via FTP/SFTP, the file name of .tsv, .txt, or .xml files have to match the file name specified for a feed’s settings. In the case of compressed text format, the compressed .txt file inside the archive (.zip, .gz, .gzip) must have the matching file name.

Using the API and FTP/SFTP in Microsoft Merchant Center

This doesn't really answer the question, as the Bing Ads API does not appear to support the sort of interfaces that I referenced which would allow reporting conversions server-side instead of just through UET.
