Hi

How to handle apps that have building auto update function and the apps is a required apps? The apps is failing because this Intune version is older in that apps version and therefor is failing to upg.

Is there a workaround because i would not like to make a new apps every time the apps get a update by the building updater.

IS there not a button that tells is shall only install the apps ones? and then the apps update by itself :-)

hope it makes sense.

    Hi Kim Hamann,

One option is to use "Available" instead of "Required" Deployment this way Intune installs it once and the app manages its updates.

Another option is to user Superdense for Win32Apps as it allows allows Intune to handle version transitions more gracefully without manual removal.

There is no literal “install once” button in Intune, but you can simulate this by using detection rules that check for the presence of the app (regardless of version).
