How to prevent forced reboot after Windows update - Intune

We run a few computers in a test environment for lifetime testing of our hardware, stretching for weeks and months. How can I ensure windows update does not force a reboot at random? I would like to manually do required updates eg. every last wednesday of the month and reboot the machines in a controlled fashion.

Now they are in a separate update ring which is paused, but this does somehow not prevent updates from happening.

This concerns both computers running windows 10 and windows 11.

Is there any other solution than to prevent these machines access to the internet?

    Based on my research, There are settings to delay automatic reboot, schedule update installation and schedule auto-restart warnings in the following link:

    This will help to ensure windows update does not force a reboot at random.
