Hi, I seem to be stuck in a loop which makes me unable to access the Security tab for this account. I get asked to get sent a message when i press on the security tab -> I then get a 2 digit code to click on my phone authenticator (i then also use my thumbprint as the screen lock) -> I get the message that "Your screen lock has changed" with the accompanying text
"Phone sign-in will no longer work for ******@hotmail.se (my email). You will need to enable phone sign-in again on your account".
-> I click on the option to "SET UP" -> I get a screen that says "Your screen lock has changed" with the option to click "RE-ENABLE PHONE SIGN-IN" -> i get the screen that tells me to sign in and a button to "Send notification" -> i get a 2 digit number to click on my phone authenticator -> i get the message that "Your screen lock has changed", which sends me back to the start of this never-ending loop. How do i get out of this loop? the reason for this is that i got a message that someone was trying to log into my account, so i wanted to change password.

Open Microsoft Authenticator on your phone.

Find your Microsoft account and remove it.

    Restart your phone.

    Now Re-add your account manually.

    Sign in to Microsoft Security.

Advanced Security Options > Additional Security Options > Authenticator App and re-add it

I signed into the web app with my password.

Then it suggested to generate a passkey.

I scanned the QR code with the Authenticator app.

Seems to be OK ... until next time.

    What a clown show!
