Dear All

I been using gpo and intune rules to block Windows Store and it has been working for 23H2 below but since I have been upgrading my new PCs with 24H2, I noticed that Windows Store is not being locked. Even using registry to lock it doesnt work. Is there a way to resolve this issue because I dont want people installing all sort of games onto company PCs. Thanks.

Hello Amir Shah Hassan bin Abdullah,

Thank you for posting in Microsoft Community forum.

1.Does the problem occur on all the Windows 11 24H2?

2.I am engineer mainly focus on AD DS. About the GPO, please check the group policy result on one problematic machine.

For checking Computer Configuration within gpresult, we can follow steps below.

Logon this machine using administrator account.

    Open CMD (run as Administrator).

Type gpresult /h C:\gpo.html and click Enter.

Open gpo.html and check gpo setting under "Computer Details".

For checking User Configurations within gpresult, we can follow steps below.

Logon the machine using normal domain user account (that applies this gpo).

Create a folder named F1 in C drive.

Open CMD (do not run as Administrator).

Type gpresult /h C:\F1\gpo.html and click Enter.

Open gpo.html and check if there are these gpo settings under "User Details".

Meanwhile, I am sorry, there are no engineers dedicated to Intune in this forum. Q&A forum have dedicated Intune engineers.
