This issue could occur due to several reasons sometimes commonly related to permissions, Spark pool settings or synapse Link configuration nuances.
- Ensure that the Spark pool was created with the correct region and settings compatible with Synapse Link requirements for Dataverse. Occasionally, region mismatches or unsupported configurations can cause issues.
- Confirm that the Synapse Link and the Synapse workspace are correctly set up, including any specific settings for compatibility with Dataverse and Delta Lake.
- Changes in Azure resources aren't immediately reflected. Try refreshing the Synapse Link configuration page, or even re-establishing the connection to your Synapse workspace.
- Although you have owner and Synapse admin roles, make sure you have the necessary permissions specifically for Synapse Link with Dataverse, as certain linked access requirements might not be covered by general roles.
- Clear cache or try a different browser: Occasionally, cached settings or browser compatibility issues can interfere with resource display in Azure portal dropdowns.
If there is still issue, consider re deploying the spark pool or checking azure service health to ensure there are no regional disruptions impacting resource visibility.
