Hi, 2 weeks ago, i wanted to update my PC, but i couldn`t because of an error. The answer from windows update is "We could not connect to the update service. We will try again later. Alternatively, you can try now. Check your internet connection if it still does not work."! My internet connection is perfectly fine...
Thx for help

    Hi @Christoph Eisinger

You can try to the following ways:

1.Check if the Windows Update service is disabled.

    1. Press the Windows key and R key at the same time, and then type "services.msc"(no quotes), press enter.
    2. Check whether the Windows Update service is disabled in the service. If it is disabled, double-click to open the service properties, change the startup type to "automatic", start the service, and save the settings.
    3. Open the update interface of the settings and check for updates again.

    2.Reset WinSock to revisit.

Press the Windows key and X key at the same time, click Administrator command prompt, and run the following command:

    netsh winsock reset

    Finally, restart your machine.

3.You can check the Local Group Policy Editor to see if there is a setting that specifies the location of the intranet Microsoft Update Service, and if so, change it to Not configured. You can also disable or uninstall VPN or firewall apps that may affect updates.

    Hope it helps.

    Lei

    Run the Windows Update troubleshooter.

Select Start  > Settings  > Update & Security   > Troubleshoot > Additional troubleshooters. Next, under Get up and running, select Windows Update > Run the troubleshooter

I find it incredible, that the company that has produced the update, and caused the problem, can not resolve the issue. I have tried every solution they have offered. None of them work. They can send a robot to Mars, but they can't fix a simple conflict problem. And this is the 21st century!
