AVS - IPv6 Support

AVS - IPv6 Support

Hello Team,

We need to enable IPv6 in AVS for IPv6 clients from the internet, and the IPv6 clients will need to access our third party network virtual appliance within AVS through NSX-T DC Edge. So, I know Azure supports IPv6 but what about AVS? Could you share any documents or experiences on this? Thanks.

I haven't seen any documented process for this in AVS. I would suggest logging a support case with AVS technical support team and discuss the best practices. Once you have the resolution, please post here.

Hi @JS Kim ,

Currently AVS doesn't support IPv6. Can you drop an email to msrini@microsoft.com with your end to end scenario and your AVS Resource ID and your company name ?

This feature on AVS depends on IPv6 support by Azure 1st party services like Azure Firewall. With the PIP on NSX based Internet enablement feature, we will need to check whether this can be accommodated or not.
