Windows Server 2016 WSUS not downloading updated from Microsoft update. Download Status show as 0%

e have installed windows 2016 fresh OS. Post configuration of the WSUS service the wsus console Download Status show as 0%.

There are no error message .. synchronization is completed successfully. Approved the patches.. but still Download Status show as 0%. Can any one has the solution ..

    The request failed with HTTP status 503: Service Unavailable.

    The most likely cause is that the WsusPool Application Pool in IIS is in a stopped state.
    Also, the Private Memory Limit (KB) for the Application Pool is probably set to the default value of 1843200 KB. If you encounter this problem, increase the Private Memory Limit to 4GB (4000000 KB) and restart the Application Pool. To increase the Private Memory Limit, select the WsusPool Application Pool and click Advanced Settings under edit Application Pool. Then set the Private Memory Limit to 4GB (4000000 KB).

    Troubleshooting Steps

    • Application & Wsus pool restarted
    • WSUS Update & Background Intelligent Transfer Service is set to Automatic and running
    • SoftwareDistrubtuion log looks okay apart from time entries is out of sync with the server clock

    These urls have been permitted through the firewall
