It will count every day and stops on 13th day and the 14th day will never come! And the same applies to "Search on bing for 7 days". Even if you search on bing for 700 days or 700 years, it will not show the status that it is completed! Finally, you will never become Gold Member!

I can't understand how they can count if I am using Bing or not...!!!

If Microsoft Bing has set a task or script to monitor the use of MS Bing on edge, chrome, opera or any other browsers, my strict opinion is that it would be counted and shown on above days counter. Seems, there would be some errors on their programs. So, wait for the update of Microsoft Rewards hope, they will provide us the solution by updating Microsoft Rewards

At least, you guys are saying stuck in 12 days, 10 days etc. Mine has not yet started, it was in zero only even after using it for the whole month.

Yeah, same here. I've been using Edge for about a year and a half now, with Bing as my default search engine, and it was working perfectly fine. But in October, it won't increase and i'm stuck at 0 days, even after I re-installed Edge.

I am currently a Silver Member in the Microsoft Rewards program and am working toward achieving Gold status. One of the required level-up activities involves using Microsoft Bing as my default search engine for 14 days.

I have already set Bing as my default search engine (verified in my browser settings) and have been using it daily while signed into my Microsoft account. However, my progress continues to show “0 / 14 days”, even after several days of consistent activity.

I hope Microsoft team will resolve this issue as soon as possible and also give compensation for our loss .

Well actually, you need to search through directly from Address bar and not from Search bar. So that will count the days.

Hi @Punita Bhatt Thank you so much for the suggestion and it worked and added a new streak called "Daily Set" into my Daily Streaks. However, it is showing only "0/3 activities completed" even after using the searches and stories from there. I don't see any activities to be completed. When I searched on Bing for the same, I see an answer with "One search, one daily quiz and one daily poll". I have completed search, quiz but I don't see any daily poll. Moreover, it is not showing "2/3 activities completed" status for search completion and quiz completion. What to do now?

While the 0/14 count issue is sorted out by searching from the address bar directly, the second level up activity "Search on bing for 7 days" is not at all progressing and not at all getting updated as COMPLETE even if search only on bing through out the month..! Can someone suggest solution for this?

After following up with Microsoft Rewards support team, I am fed up because they are not understanding what I am asking for and writing non related responses.

Now I am getting a feeling that all these rewards program activities are exploits to divert people from Google!

Hi there, this is Marc. Thanks for reaching out to the community.

Make sure Bing is set as your default search engine in the browser you actually use, and that you’re signed in with your Microsoft account while searching. If you use private browsing, switch browsers, or get logged out, those days may not count. Sometimes progress also takes a few days to sync across devices.

I’d suggest clearing your browser cache/cookies, signing back in, and confirming Bing is still the default. If it still only shows 4 days, you can reach Microsoft Rewards support here: https://support.microsoft.com/rewards

I am facing a similar issue. My Default search engine Bing 14 days is showing 0/14 days. Whereas, my default browser is Edge and I use bing as my default search engine there for a long time. As a person with laptop dependent tasks my browser usage is heavy. I still did not get the Gold membership of rewards.

I’m facing the same issue. I’ve been using Bing as my default search engine on MS Edge for years, but the Microsoft Rewards activity “Use Microsoft Bing as your default search engine for 14 days” stays stuck at 0/14 days. I’ve tried every suggested fixing and troubleshooting step, but nothing changes. It still doesn’t recognize my usage, even though Bing is set as my default.
